This enlarged skin section model allows for the microscopic structure of the human skin, hair and nails to be studied in great detail.
Different skin sections represent and contrast hairless skin (for example the palm of the hand) and hairy skin (for example that of the forearm). Model J14 / 1000292 demonstrates the different skin cell layers of each type of skin, as well as the embedded sweat glands, touch receptor, blood vessels, nerves and a hair with root.
