About the Author - Liz Paton

Liz is a Glasgow-based medical illustrator and writer with an MSc in Medical Art and a BA in Medical Illustration with focus on pre-medical sciences. She has several years' experience in the medical field and has worked with healthcare professionals and educators around the world creating anatomically accurate artwork, infographics and other learning materials. 

Interested in creative writing, Liz has completed several medical writing courses and is passionate about portraying medical sciences not only through illustrations but also through writing. 

Areas of interest include: orthopaedics (particularly upper limb), psychology, general surgery and public health.
