The Life/Form Colonoscope Examination Training Model LF01084 provides a realistic training experince and has been used for medical training worldwide.
The training model features a total of 12 pathological conditions for students to diagnose and allows for the practice of all manipulative and photographic techniques as well. As the scope follows the contours of the large intestine, the student must negotiate the sigmoid colon, splenic flexure, and hepatic flexure before viewing the internal structure of the ascending colon and cecum. As the flexible colonoscope is withdrawn, the student can identify benign sessile, pedunculated and hyperplastic polyps, as well as cancerous lesions.
The colonoscope simulator comes on a solid oak stand and includes lubricant, instruction guide and a hard carrying case.
