Introducing the HAL Adult Multipurpose Airway and CPR Trainer, a portable torso designed to enable the teaching of basic and advanced airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This can be used by medical students, nursing students, healthcare professionals, emergency responders, as well as any organisation that requires life support training.
The adult airway and CPR trainer enables users to practice laryngospasm recognition. Additionally, it enables practitioners to perform emergency tracheostomies and cricothyrotomies, using realistic anatomical landmarks.
The trainer is versatile and offers the following features:
- Head tilt, chin lift and jaw thrust
- Eyes that can be opened or closed manually
- Nasal and oral intubation practice (ETT, LMA, King LT)
- Laryngospasms
- Lifelike airway anatomy, including the tongue, vocal cords and trachea
- Tracheostomies and cricothyrotomies can be carried out via a surgical airway insert
- Palpable carotid pulse
- Bag valve mask ventilation that causes visible chest rises
- Oesophageal intubation which causes gastric distension
- Right mainstay intubation presents unilateral chest rises
- Realistic chest compression recoil and depth
