Order Fulfillment

Health Books UK Ltd. provides a shipping estimate for each product on the website. If an item is not going to be delivered within this advertised period, we will inform you and you willl have the option to cancel your order at any time before the item is delivered.

All products are subject to availability and prices are subject to change. If for any reason we determine that an item will no longer be available or if the price is different from that advertised, we will notify you by e-mail, amend the information on the website, and offer you a full refund or exchange.

Health Books UK Ltd. shall have no liabilities to customers for any failure to deliver a purchase or any delay in delivery which is due to any act of God, war, strike, lock-out, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, tempest, or any other event or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Any claims for damage or discrepancy between the items on the packing list and what has been received must be reported in writing by email within 3 working days.

Cancellation and Returns

You may cancel your order by informing Health Books UK via email or in writing any time up to fourteen days from the day after delivery if you are not satisfied for whatever reason with the product or service. Once the return has been authorised, you must return the goods to the address as instructed by us in an unused, unopened condition without the seals or wrapping being removed or broken. The total amount charged, minus any postage and packaging fee in the case on an unwanted good, will be refunded in full within 28 days of receipt of the goods. Returned goods are to be accompanied by a note stating your return authorisation number, name and order number, and you will be responsible for the postage costs of returning the goods.

Should you receive a damaged or defective item from Health Books UK, we will offer a choice of a prompt replacement, a full refund, or an alternative item of the same value. Receipt of damaged or defective goods must be reported by email within 3 days of delivery, and all returns must be authorised. When a return is authorised we will provide information on how to return the goods. Damaged or defective products must be returned within 14 days of delivery and you will not be charged for the postage costs of returning the product or any additional shipping or handling fees for the replacement product (UK orders only).

Where a product is offered with a manufacturer's warranty, the information will be listed on the product page. Health Books UK Ltd will assist the customer in claiming for a replacement, repair or refund against the the manufacturer's warranty, but does not bear any responsibility for honouring the terms of a manufacturer's warranty.

Digital downloads are non-refundable.

Health Books UK Ltd. accepts no responsibility for the return of goods that have not been sent by recorded mail and proof of receipt provided.

If you have not received delivery of your order within 10 days from the date of order, you must notify Health Books UK Ltd. unless you have received an email to inform you of a delay to dispatch. If an item has been returned to sender by the courier as undeliverable, we may be able to resend the item to you however an additional postage charge may be payable. Health Books UK Ltd shall not be held liable for replacing or refunding any items reported outside of this period, as courier companies do not allow claims for non-delivery outside this period.

For oversize or special order products, a restocking charge may apply, however we will inform you if this is the case prior to fulfilment of the order.

International Orders

Where VAT exempt orders are sent by Health Books UK Ltd to customers outside of the United Kingdom, the customer bears full responsibility for any local import taxes or charges that may be payable upon delivery. If goods are returned to us because local taxes and duties were not paid by the customer, the shipping costs cannot be reimbursed and new shipping charges may be payable to resend the goods.

Payment Card Security

Health Books UK uses a third party Secure Payment Service Provider, Stripe, to process all of our transactions.

Stripe has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI). They adhere to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, to ensure that all of our customers' details remain secure throughout the transaction process.

Review discount vouchers

Health Books UK Ltd may invite customers to independently review their purchase via Reviews.co.uk. A voucher may be issued to participating customers. All vouchers are limited to one per customer per order, and may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. Discounts exclude P&P costs where applicable. Health Books UK Ltd reserves the right to withdraw discount vouchers at any time.

Payment by BACS or International Payments

The customer agrees to pay all costs associated with payment by BACS or international bank transfers, so the total amount received by Health Books UK Ltd is the full invoice amount.

Technical and Sales Support

All support which a customer requests prior or subsequent to placing an order will be administered via an email or telephone support service. All queries will be responded to in a reasonable time period.
