The Fat Ring for Abdomen Phantom is designed to simulate additional subcutaneous adipose tissue during CT, X-ray, and other imaging procedures, enhancing the realism of abdominal imaging studies.

Manufactured from adipose tissue-equivalent material, the fat ring fits around compatible abdomen phantoms to increase the overall body diameter and provide more realistic attenuation characteristics during scanning. Each ring consists of four interlocking sections that conform to the phantom shape for straightforward assembly and secure positioning.

Available in 2.5 cm and 5 cm thickness options, the fat ring is compatible with the following phantom models:

  • Abdomen Phantom PV (NLP1710)
  • Abdomen Phantom PV LC Spheres (NLP1720)

Fat rings for other phantom models and custom thicknesses are available upon request.
