Introducing the Training Right Intravenous Arm Assembly Option, an optional add-on crafted for use with the PEDI Blue Neonatal Patient Simulator with SmartSkin. Through the use of the training arm, students are presented an opportunity to fine-tune their abilities in carrying out intravenous techniques. This is a fundamental skillset for medical and nursing students.
Using the training arm, users can gain confidence and proficiency in:

- Intravenous administration
- Blood collection
- Infusion
- Intravenous injection
An accurate reproduction of the cephalic, basilic, antecubital, radial, and ulnar veins can be observed on the training arm. For added realism, the veins are crafted to provide a true-to-life tactile experience, marked by a distinct sensation of “pop” upon entry of the needle.
