The Mandible Model (Young Adult) is a highly detailed representation of the left mandible in a post-adolescent individual, featuring a full set of 8 teeth and scaled to approximately 3 times life size, expertly crafted from unbreakable plastic.
The exterior layer of the jawbone has been removed, revealing the blood vessels of the mandible, the tooth roots, and their associated nerves. One of the molars is longitudinally sectioned from the crown to the root, displaying the effects of dental caries, while another molar demonstrates advanced inflammation (pulpitis). On the inner surface of the jaw, you can observe the submaxillary and sublingual salivary glands.
