The Suppurative Arthritis of the Knee 3D Printed Anatomy Model specimen exhibits the joint surfaces of a femur and tibia, which have undergone significant erosion. These surfaces appear brown, highly irregular, with shaggy adhesions and patches of yellow necrotic material. Normal articular cartilage is absent, with some irregular bony projections present on the femoral condyles, reaching up to 1 cm in diameter. Staphylococcus aureus was isolated from the joint, indicating a case of suppurative arthritis in a joint previously affected by tuberculosis.
