Introducing the SUSIE and SIMON Newborn CPR and Trauma Care Simulator with Intraosseous Access, a neonatal patient manikin with intraosseous access and a femoral venous site. Suitable for teaching students studying medicine and nursing, as well as healthcare professionals within the paediatric specialty.
The newborn patient simulator facilitates the teaching of neonatal CPR and emergency / trauma care. The manikin is anatomically accurate and has a fully articulated head and jaw with tongue. For added realism, it has a soft, lifelike face skin with moulded hair and is additionally supplied with nappies and a bodysuit.
The key clinical procedures that can be practiced with this trainer are the following:
