Midwife Sonographer
Clarice qualified as a Midwife in 2012 and has since worked in many countries, including Italy, Zambia and England, where she enhanced her Midwifery skills and knowledge. She believes in a health system that it is patient centered and that puts the well-being of the patient as priority.
After many years working as a midwife, Clarice qualified as obstetric and gynaecological ultrasonographer. Her thesis for the 3 years midwifery course 'The role of the obstetric (midwife) in breast cancer prevention and recurrence' was published in the journal of medical oncology and she was co-author in the scientific publication 'Community-based management in Zambia: HIV/AIDS infection and other risk factors on child survival'.
Clarice, along with Nicholas Dixon from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust,
headed out to Madagascar at the beginning of April 2023. Their mission is simple, to deliver healthcare and healthcare training for one month in a remote area of Madagascar.

The HPV vaccination programme has successfully almost eliminated cervical cancer in women, emphasising the importance of using educational materials to raise awareness of key preventative measures.
