Introducing the Advanced Child Airway Management (Torso), an advanced training simulator designed for honing skills on paediatric patients, accurately mirroring the size of a 5-year-old patient. It is an excellent tool for both healthcare students and professionals, accommodating both introductory and advanced training needs.

The trainer presents expanded functionalities, incorporating tongue swelling and laryngospasm, in addition to all the features present in standard models. It facilitates training in intubation, ventilation, suction, CPR, and jaw thrust techniques. Notably, it replicates authentic anatomy and reference points, including teeth, tongue, oral and nasal pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, false and true vocal cords, trachea, lungs, oesophagus, and stomach.

For lung auscultation, the manikin has separate lung units tailored for a more precise auscultatory analysis and manual palpation of the carotid pulse can be carried out. In addition, it is constructed with a slightly anterior orientation, expanding tongue, and vocal cords.

Located internally is an internal load box, designed to absorb the complete energy of every shock, ensuring the well-being of both students and equipment.

Moreover, the potential to closely monitor the manikin, replicating genuine patient scenarios, is available and compatible with a range of standard defibrillators, monitors and patient simulators. Overall, it has four ECG sites and two defibrillation sites.
