Introducing the multi-purpose Advanced Patient Care Male and Female Catheterisation Simulator, a trainer for the practice of male and female suprapubic catheterisation and ostomy care techniques. Suitable for use by healthcare students, doctors, nurses, and those training towards a specialty in obstetrics & gynaecology.
The manikin is designed for the demonstration of the following procedures:
- Catheterisation: It comes with interchangeable genitalia to enable users to develop both male and female catheterisation techniques. The modular urethral valve has been designed to prevent fluid leakage.
- Stoma Care: 3 stoma sites (transverse colostomy, ileostomy, suprapubic) are present on the trainer and can be dilated. Allows the practice of irrigation procedures and the application of stoma bags. Each stoma is connected to an internal tank.
The “2-in-1” Advanced Patient Care Male and Female Catheterisation Simulator is a cost-efficient way to provide training for catheterisation and ostomy care. For ease of transport, it is supplied with a carrying bag. Further information about its use can be accessed in the instruction manual.
