Tailored for use in clinical skills sessions, it serves as a valuable tool for medical and nursing students’ education and training.  

Featuring an elaborate 8-line vascular system, students can practice venepuncture at primary and secondary locations, mastering techniques such as IV insertion and over the needle intravenous catheters.

With the aid of the venous system, the setup becomes more straightforward, as a sole external fluid bag supplies artificial blood to all veins simultaneously.

To facilitate intravenous access training, students have access to the following veins:

• Metacarpal, digital, and thumb veins on the dorsal surface of the hand
• Median cephalic, median basilic, and median cubital veins at the antecubital fossa
• Basilic, cephalic, accessory cephalic, and median antebrachial veins

Palpation of the veins triggers rolling motions in the replaceable skin, with a discernible “pop” sensation upon entry of the needle into the veins.

Intramuscular injections can be performed in the deltoid muscle, and intradermal injection sites are precisely situated in the upper arm. The presence of soft, lifelike skin and natural bony landmarks in the deltoid region enhances intramuscular injection efficacy. Additionally, intradermal injections using distilled water result in characteristic skin welts on the upper arm at specified sites.

The Advanced Venepuncture and Injection Arm exhibits astonishing realism. The simulator’s fingers are moulded separately and possess a soft texture, showcasing extraordinary attention to detail, including accurate fingerprint representations. The training arm is durable and capable of enduring hundreds of injections before requiring replacement of its veins or skin.
