This high quality, life size articulated pelvis is made from realistic bone-like material in the UK, and can be disassembled into 4 parts. The 5th lumbar vertebra is shown. The unique screw mechanism allows for demonstration of the expansion of the joints during childbirth.
This female pelvis is ideally suited for midwifery studies in conjunction with a foetal doll, or for demonstration of the natural movement of the pelvic bones, e.g. the sacrum.
