This detailed Articulated Human Medical Study Skull by Erler Zimmer is an excellent study, demonstration and teaching aid for medical, anatomy and denistry student.

This skull is made from a composite of 22 individual cranial bones and 32 individual teeth. The articulated human medical study skull is composed bone by bone from the completely disarticulated version of the skull (Ref 4706). Supported on a stand, this model¶ÿhas separated parietal bones which allow access to the interior of the cranium. This intricate skull is of a young female adult also allows removal of the 32 individual teeth¶ÿand includes all the foramina, canals, sutures and minute details of a real skull.

Please note that the study skull only disarticulates to the limit that is shown in the image.

The articulated human medical study skull is supplied with two charts and a poster (22 x 28cm) entitled 'Bristle through bone: An osteological model approach to teaching the cranial nerves and foramina', as presented by Noel Boaz and David Kronen at the American Association of Anatomists/ Experimental Biology meeting in April 2006. A report by Dr. Boaz titled 'Osteological Tracing of Cranial Nerves' is also included.
