A realistic simulator for teaching and practicing proper technique of breast self examination (BSE).
The Breast Examination Training Model LF00984 is a realistic simulator for the teaching and practice of breast palpation techniques. Ideal for hospitals and medical clinics to demonstrate the proper techniques of breast examination.
The model is made from special vinyl formulations to give the most realistic look and feel possible. The simulator also features a unique fluid breast mass which allows for displacement of breast tissue under palpation just as it would with a real patient. Both breasts feature abnormalities, the left one having a small nodule in the upper outer quadrant and a fibroadenoma in the lower inside quadrant while the right breast has a fixed lump in the upper outer quadrant, a fluid filled cyst in the lower inside quadrant, and a round lump movable discrete mass directly under the nipple.
The simulator allows for practice of all phases of examination in sitting and supine position. Features a concave back to allow placement against the patient, a teaching guide, guide to breast examination, adjustable neck strap, adjustable waist strap and storage box.
