An enlarged skin anatomy model, magnified to enable study of the skin and hair. The cross sectional view of the human skin shows three layers and a close up view of a hair follicle, sweat gland, blood vessels and fatty tissue. The one-piece models can be viewed from the front, back and side.
The model shows the structures of the human scalp as follows:
1. Structure of the skin: epidermis, dermis, hypodermis.
2. Appendages of the skin : the sweat glands, the sebaceous glands and hairs.
3. Blood vessels and nerves of the skin.
A good value model ideal for teaching anatomy at a basic level. The skin model comes on a stand.
