This male and female catheterisation model set (160-1933) includes an anatomically correct male and female model to help students practise the correct technique. The models are constructed by a new material which has a realistic flexibility and feel. The models use a 16 FR catheter and are ideal to demonstrate balloon inflation procedures.
Each catheter training model is supplied with its own stand which enables it to be used on a table top. The models include a fluid reservoir to simulate urine flow upon successful insertion of the catheter. Using these models, instructors will be able to ensure their students understand sterilisation techniques and preparing the patient for the procedure as well as insertion and removal of a catheter.
