Introducing the CPR Prompt Adult/Child Manikin, a pack of 5 manikins designed to train both adult and paediatric CPR techniques. Suitable for the training of medical, nursing and healthcare students, as well as practitioners.
The manikin’s comprehensive structure facilitates the simulation of the following essential protocols:
- Heimlich manoeuvre
- Abdominal thrusts
- CPR
- Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation
Opening the airway or simulating an airway obstruction can be achieved through the head tilt/chin lift technique, resulting in visible chest rises during ventilation.
In addition, the manikin boasts realistic anatomical markings, aiding in the proper placement of hands for assessing the pulse and conducting chest compressions. These landmarks include:
- Adam’s apple
- Carotid arteries
- Navel
- Rib cage
- Chest notch
For transitioning between adult and child CPR protocols, an age selector dial is provided, allowing adjustment of the chest compression piston accordingly.
To enhance the training experience further, the CPR Prompt Adult/Child Manikin can be purchased with the HeartiSense kit. This state-of-the-art device facilitates precision and efficacy in CPR training, offering students immediate feedback on their performance.
Note: Exclusively use AED training devices. When using foam-constructed manikins for AED training, employ solely AED training-specific pads.
