The manikin is anatomically accurate, precisely mirroring the proportions of an 8-year-old child. It boasts an authentic and resilient airway, alongside articulating limbs, and its lightweight composition renders it an optimal choice for Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training programs.
Some of the realistic anatomical landmarks include a mouth, tongue, oral pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, vocal cords, trachea, and oesophagus. Alongside the visible landmarks, the head, neck, and jaw exhibit complete articulation, facilitating the integration of a true-to-life jaw thrust function.
In addition, the manikin has distinct left and right lungs, permitting auscultation training, as well as training in oral, nasal, and digital intubation. It is further augmented by an inflatable stomach bladder to signal instances of oesophageal intubation.
