Enhance the training of animal emergency rescue procedures with the Dog Duty Range Manikin. The manikin is ideal for the use of emergency rescue professionals, e.g., fire and rescue services, the police, and ambulance/EMS/HART teams. It is also used worldwide by The Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces, coastguards, and canine first aid training providers.
With the growing increase of pets and animals within families and communities, animal rescue is now an integral part of emergency rescue services. The manikin is versatile and suitable for a range of rescue training scenarios, including:

These rescue training scenarios can be carried out within a group setting, as a team building activity to encourage effective communication within peers. It can additionally be used for the training of the safe and correct use of rescue devices and harnesses.
The manikin is durable and made of heavy-duty polyester that is non-flammable and waterproof, therefore suitable for wet and foul scenarios, including chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defence (CBRN defence). It is constructed using the same material used in the production of police ballistic/stab vests. This makes it durable and tough enough to withstand being buried under heavy objects or dropped from height without damage.
Additionally, the manikin gives an anatomically correct weight distribution, to ensure an effective and realistic training and give the ‘feel’ of an unconscious canine. The soft body joints eliminate the risk of pinch welts and bruising, which can happen when using plastic bodied manikins.
The Dog Duty Range Manikin can be purchased in other weights, to enhance training sessions further and create varying levels of difficulty. It should be noted that, although the manikin can tolerate extreme conditions, it is not suited for use in temperatures above 100 degrees, flashover scenarios or use in water.
