This Equine Hoof 3D Printed Model - Model 3 has been carefully designed and printed based on CT and MR data.

This anatomically accurate and life-sized full-colour 3D printed model is a valuable equine and veterinary training tool. With each anatomical component colour coded, this model helps students to understand the full anatomy of a horse's hoof.

This Equine Hoof 3D Printed Model is part of a series from Erler Zimmer which consists of four models. These range from models showing anatomical structures to models showing deeper structures.

The bones, ligaments, tendons and cartilage listed below can be found on model 1, 2, 3 and 4. However, with this model (3) students will also be able to learn about how the deep digital flexor tendon is sectioned, the tendon’s relationship to the distal sesamoid bone and the impar ligament. On this model, one ungular cartilage is absent to show the collateral ligaments of the distal sesamoid bone.
