The Five-Year-Old CPR Care Simulator with Intraosseous Access, IV Arm/Leg and OMNI Code Blue Pack is a paediatric manikin for the practice of basic life support procedures, including CPR and trauma care. This is a valuable addition to medical education and will enable users to gain confidence in life-saving skills.
The manikin is representative of a five-year-old child and has accurate anatomical structures, as well as realistic hands, feet, fingers, and toes. The trainer is enhanced with the OMNI Code Blue Pack, allowing users to monitor and log the cadence and depth of cardiac compressions and airway ventilation.
It is versatile and offers the following features:
- The practice of hygienic mouth-to-mouth ventilation with disposable airways
- Fully articulated head and jaw, which feature teeth and a tongue
- When the head is tilted forward observe a blocked airway
- Removable and easily accessible chest cavity that includes a moulded ribcage, lungs & heart
- Practice basic life support, such as regular or vest CPR
- Multiple arterial pulse sites, e.g., the carotid, femoral and brachial pulse
- Observe realistic chest rises during ventilations, such as bag valve mask ventilation and mouth-to-mouth ventilation
- Practice ophthalmic exercises with eyes that can be opened and closed and are situated in realistic eye sockets
- Has 1 normal eye and 1 dilated eye
- Various intramuscular (IM) injection sites in the deltoids and quadriceps
- Intraosseous infusion
- Intravenous training arm and a femoral venous site
- Accurate bone articulations with jointed elbows, wrists, knees, and ankles
For ease of storage, the five-year-old paediatric patient manikin can bend or detach at the waist. It is further supplied with a soft carry case to allow trainers to easily transport the trainer.
