Enhance advanced life support training with the HAL Advanced Adult Multipurpose Airway and CPR Trainer. The manikin allows learners to practice recognition and management of difficult airways. Suitable for use by students and professionals in medicine, nursing, and emergency medical services.
The simulator is a full-sized adult male torso and is powered by pressurising an internal reservoir, using either a supplied manual pump or conventional bag valve mask ventilation. This makes it efficient, as it does not require the use of batteries or an external power supply.
The anatomical structures are accurate, and the airway is realistic, which is manually programmable to simulate tongue oedema, laryngospasms, and tongue oedema. Some of the key features offered by the simulator are:
- Use of nasopharyngeal/oropharyngeal tubes for ventilation and intubation
- Realistic chest compression/recoil with bag valve mask ventilation producing lifelike chest rises
- Intubation using conventional adjuncts
- Gastric distension
- Easy neck flexion and extension
- Unilateral chest rise with right main stem intubation
- Lungs can be disabled independently
- Surgical airway procedures such as tracheostomy and needle or surgical cricothyrotomy
- Supplied with normal and surgical cricoid cartilage inserts, allowing for longitudinal and transverse incisions
- Bilateral needle decompression in the 2nd intercostal space
- Bilateral drainage at the 5th intercostal space using conventional large diameter chest tubes
- Eyes can be manually opened or closed
- Silicone face/head skin for realistic jaw thrust, head tilt/chin lift
