The Life-Size Heart with Bypass Model has a unique design featuring two hearts in one. It comes equipped with detachable and re-attachable bypass vessels, which are useful for demonstrating single, double, and triple bypass grafts, as well as a normal heart without any bypasses.
This robust vinyl heart can be separated into anterior and posterior sections, granting access to its pumping chambers and valves. Blood vessels on the model are colour-coded, with red indicating oxygenated blood and blue indicating deoxygenated blood. The model boasts a total of 33 significant cardiac features, each carefully numbered to simplify identification using the accompanying key.
The Life-Size Heart with Bypass Model is securely positioned on a perfectly fitting display base, and it can be removed for hands-on examination and study.
