The Liver with Gallbladder Model is enlarged to one and a half times life size to allow a detailed study of the anatomy of the human liver and gallbladder. The ventral surface of this replica is dissected to expose major blood vessels and bile ducts in deep relief, including:
- The hilus vessels
- The extra-hepatic and intra-hepatic bile ducts
- The gallbladder
The portal vein and its branches are coloured lavender, the gallbladder and bile ducts green, the hepatic artery and its branches vermillion, and the hepatic veins blue. This model features 28 hand-numbered structures which are identified in the accompanying key. The Liver with Gallbladder Model comes with a base. Ideal for teaching or learning the anatomy of the human liver and gallbladder.
