Discover the Multi Trauma Training Manikin, a manikin that can be used to simulate trauma injuries, e.g., impalement or amputations, to enhance training exercises. The manikin is durable and made of heavy-duty polyester that is non-flammable and waterproof, therefore suitable for wet and foul scenarios, including chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defence (CBRN defence). It is constructed using the same material used in the production of police ballistic/stab vests. This makes it durable and tough enough to withstand being buried under heavy objects or dropped from height without damage.

For versatility, the right arm and leg can be partially or fully removed, to simulate a casualty with lost limbs. The rigid plastic cavity in the chest area allows the insertion of an impalement of the user’s choice. Proper casualty care can be promoted with the use of an immobilisation/extrication collar that can be fitted around the neck of the adult manikin.

Additionally, the manikin gives an anatomically correct weight distribution, to ensure an effective and realistic training and give the ‘feel’ of an unconscious person. The soft body joints eliminate the risk of pinch welts and bruising, which can happen when using plastic bodied manikins. It should be noted that, although the manikin can tolerate extreme conditions, it is not suited for use in temperatures above 100 degrees or use in deep water.
