Discover the Newborn PEDI Nursing Skills Patient Simulator, a multi-purpose infant trainer for airway management, femoral IV, intravenous access, umbilical catheterisation, and intraosseous access. This is a valuable learning tool for use by medical and nursing students, as well as healthcare professionals in the paediatric field.

The full-bodied newborn manikin has a fully articulating head, neck, and jaw. This permits a wide range of motion including head tilt/chin lift, jaw thrust and neck extension into the “sniffing” position. It has lifelike anatomical structures, such as a realistic upper respiratory tract, lungs, a distensible stomach, and internal organs. It also has an accurate airway with cricocartilage that allows intubation, suctioning, and the Sellick manoeuvre.

For added realism, it is supplied with shorts and nappies to simulate a real newborn patient. A custom nylon carrying bag has been provided for ease of transport and storage.
