This deluxe osteoporosis model A78 / 1000153 by 3B Scientific is made of three medially divided lumbar vertebrae with intervertebral discs. To allow for anatomical comparison and to show progression of the condition, the upper section provides an example of healthy bone structure, the middle section shows osteoporotic bone structure and the lower section represents advanced osteoporotic bone structure with flattened plates, decreased bone mass and deformation.
To allow for detailed study the osteoporosis anatomy model can be detached from the stand. A detailed, anatomically correct model ideal for demonstrating the effects of osteoporosis on the spine.
