A great value teaching package from RealityWorks consisting of one Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Baby, one Drug Affected Baby simulator and one Shaken Baby Simulator. These realistic, life-size infant simulators are powerful educational tools for use in alcohol and drug abuse prevention programmes, and by family health educators.

The RealCare™ Drug-Affected Baby is an electronic female infant simulator which emits cries and demonstrates the withdrawal tremors of a drug-affected infant. This RealCare Baby features tiny limbs, a small gestational size and a painful facial expression. The drug-affected baby simulator has been designed to teach users about the potential impacts of drug use while pregnant.

The RealCare™ Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Baby is a non-electric female infant simulator which demonstrates the potential affects of alcohol consumption by the mother on the unborn child. The alcohol-affected simulator features a small gestational size; small head with widely set eyes; low nasal bridge; bigger, lower ears; shorter nose and smaller chin; flattened mid-face and curved fingers and joints. The model comes with a nappy, curriculum and 'An Ounce of Prevention' DVD.

The RealCare™ Shaken Baby Simulator dramatically shows the effects to an infant’s brain from just a few seconds of shaking. The simulator cries and, when shaken, affected sections of the brain light up within the transparent head to illustrate when brain damage has occurred. The simulator can help increase awareness of the dangers of Shaken Baby Syndrome as well as child abuse, and provides an incredibly effective basis for discussion about safe parenting.

The RealCare Infant Health Trio: Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Drug-Affected and Shaken Baby Package is available in the UK exclusively from AnatomyStuff. The infant simulators are also available to purchase separately. Two skin tones are available (light and medium) for the Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and Drug-Affected babies. This package is supplied with a light skin tone drug affected baby and a medium skin tone foetal alcohol syndrome baby, unless otherwise specified.
