The overalls are crafted from PC350-FR polyester, making them heavy duty and long-lasting. In comparison to materials like PVC and 16oz canvas, these are notably tougher and more resistant to abrasion. The high density polypropene webbing reinforces the high-stress areas for additional protection.
For enhanced convenience, the overalls are constructed for easy cleaning and are machine washable, while also resisting absorption. The material is water repellent, rendering it well-suited to wet or foul conditions, including those involving chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defence. It is also flame-retardant and can tolerate high temperatures.
