The Skin Suture Trainers accurately mimic the layers of the human skin, encompassing the epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis. This provides a lifelike tactile experience for trainees. By utilising the provided base, users can apply tension to the suture pad, enhancing the realism of the suturing practice. This tension replicates the alignment of collagen fibres beneath the skin.
Trainees can create incisions of desired depth and location on the pad using a sharp scalpel. Suture and staple materials can then be removed from these incisions, allowing the trainer to be reused for multiple training sessions. The material is exceptionally durable, ensuring consistently high quality and long-term usability.
