A right upper leg model with anatomical landmarks and built-in electronics to provide feedback of the placement of intramuscular injections.
This intramuscular injection training model P56 / 1000511 (Light), 1023766 / P56D (Dark) consists of a right upper leg with anatomical landmarks for palpation, such as the patella and greater trochanter. The realistic anatomy allows for correct placement of intramuscular injections without the need for a real patient.
The injection arm has built-in fine electronics to produce audio-visual feedback of the result, e.g. correct or incorrect injection, bone contact, or wrong location. Additional trainings and control modes optionally provide an immediate or subsequent performance check under training conditions.
The durable silicone skin can be quickly and easily exchanged when necessary (one replacement included).
The intramuscular simulator is supplied with 2 AA batteries, detailed instruction manual, replacement skin
5 ml injection syringe 21 gauge (0.8 x 50mm) injection cannula.
