Uterine Leiomyoma
The specimen consists of the cervix, body, and fundus of the uterus, with a normal-sizes uterus cut in the sagittal plane. A sizable ovoid mass protrudes into the uterine cavity, extending down to the cervical opening. The mass originates from the posterior aspect of the uterus, and the cervical canal is clearly observable.
Uterus Bircornuate Unicollis
This hysterectomy specimen comprises a bicornuate uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. It has been coronally sliced and mounted to reveal both cut and external surfaces. The two uterine bodies are of equal size and share a common cervical canal. Small cysts are noted in the cervix.
